In 2011, Desiar Eyewear teamed up with Thirst Project and we decided to fully finance the building of a well in Africa that will give clean water to at least 350 people. With every purchase of Desiar Eyewear, a percentage of that sale goes directly to accomplishing our mission.

Thirst project all started with a photograph. It’s amazing what one photo can do. Photos tell stories. Seth Maxwell, (Founder and CEO of Thirst Project) first became loosely aware of the global water crisis in the summer of 2007 through a friend who had recently returned from a humanitarian service trip to Uganda. Seth knew about the poverty, but had no idea how great an issue water really was.
